I am counting in weeks!
It's getting to that stage where we have 11 weeks to go and I'm trying to make sure we're on track with everything. Venue - check. Food - check. Band/DJ - check. That's the important stuff right?! Then there are all the other aspects like prizes, MC, auctioneer, table decorations, tickets, booklets...the list goes on! Luckily I have a committee that can help with all these aspects as otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd have lost the plot by now! You'll be pleased to know - we are currently on plan. I'm a little bit OCD and my spreadsheet is looking ok, so that's a relief.
Been getting some very generous prize donations for the raffle and the auction come through as well, which is fabulous. It all helps. If you have something you could donate, or know someon who might - let us know!
The realisation that in fact there are only 8 weeks left to buy tickets has only just hit though - so please get on that asap and get your group of friends together. It's for a great cause and seeing you all there will make the committee and I feel like the 11 months of planning were worth it!
